Changing Rein
Join us in changing lives! Franciscan Hospice seeks volunteers to support patients and their families. Franciscan Hospice is seeking volunteers to help terminally ill patients and their families throughout Pierce County, including the Tacoma, Puyallup, Lakewood, and Gig Harbor areas, as they face life’s final passage. Volunteers give as many as four hours each week to help local hospice families in a variety of ways, from providing caregivers with a needed rest, offering companionship, running errands, visiting nursing homes, and sharing in patients’ life reviews. In return, they are rewarded with diverse opportunities and ongoing support. Franciscan Hospice is holding several comprehensive 3-day trainings this fall.
